Our Dominic boy turned 6 years old on October 4th. He had been counting down the days for a month before so he was obviously super excited. One of the first things he said when he woke up was "I love my birthday!". We went to Chuck E. Cheese... and MAN was it crowded and noisy! Luckily Dominic and Hali's soccer games were cancelled due to rain so we got to go a little earlier than we planned or else we wouldn't have had a table. The later it got, the more crowded it became. By the time we left there were people lurking waiting to grab our table. The kids had a super great time and Dominic loved all of his presents.
Grandma Judy came and gave him his favorite present- Red Power Ranger toys. He was also pretty jazzed about his Super Monkey- or Power Ranger Monkey, as he calls it (thank you Aunt Lisa and fam). He wanted "cupcakes that Mommy makes at home" this year which was nice because it is way cheaper. All in all he seemed to have a very good birthday. He did come up and tell me something he wants for his next birthday this morning. I informed him that his next birthday is 364 days away... he was not impressed.

LaRue has been convinced for weeks that we were going to be at Dominics birthday party,I've been very honest with her about how that wasn't quite going to be possible, but it was still very disappointing that we weren't able to be there with you guys to celebrate. I can't believe he's six!
