Hali.. Reluctant Soccer Star!

Hali was really excited about her first soccer game on Saturday. That excitement lasted about 2 minutes into her game. Once she realized that other kids were going to kick the ball away from her when she CLEARLY kicked it first, she was a little put out. She did pretty well, all in all. There was some crying and sadness, but she got a few good kicks in and even scored a GOAL! Her coach was very nice and put her right in perfect position to score if she really tried.. and got lucky... which she did!

Scoring a goal cheered her up a little bit, but then she got hurt a little bit and didn't want to go back out there! We'll see how she does next week... if she even wants to play at all. She enjoyed the snacks and her team won- okay, technically they don't keep score because they are little kids and don't want to get too competitive.. but still!
